VECTORIZATION IN ADVERTISING OBJECTS
vector/vectorized format ?
Remember: The advantage of the vectorized file is that it can be enlarged infinitely without ever losing quality.
There are two formats for a logo/image. The matrix format (JPEG, PNG, PSD) and the vector format (AI, EPS, PDF, SVG). A vector format (therefore a vectorized file) can be enlarged (zoomed) forever without ever losing quality or becoming pixelated . Unlike a matrix logo (pixelated) which has its limits, it will be pixelated and blurred during its enlargement. The vector format is more than recommended for a file that goes to printing, especially to have a high definition or when you want to print in large format.
NB: If your file is not vectorized but it has a sufficient size, good quality (clear image) and it does not need to be enlarged, it can still suit printing.
Tip : if you send an image or a logo for printing on a product, it must be in CMJN (colorimetric mode) and 300 dpi (resolution).
How do I know if my file is in vector ?
If your logo or your file was created on software like Word or Power Point, then it is certain that they are not vectorized. Be careful, a file simply saved in ai, eps or pdf is not necessarily vectorized , the easiest way to see this is by enlarging it and seeing if it becomes pixelated.
Note : A logo or any other visual to be vectorized must be created in Illustrator.
vectorized file ?
To vectorize a logo composed of text and illustration, they must already be created on suitable software.
Two steps to create a vectorized text :
Step 1: On Illustrator, write the text to be vectorized (choose the typology, etc.)

Step 2: Select the text then in “Text” click on “Vectorize”.

And now your text is vectorized!
Namely, that a form created on Illustrator is automatically vectorized, example with this cloud. To find that these elements are vectorized, you can observe that the contours are blue, with small squares around each angle and text or image curves.

THE PANTONE COLOR FOR THE ADVERTISING OBJECT
Pantone color system work ?
Pantone colors are a bit like the universal color language. These are thousands of color shades identified by Pantone codes (example: 2455C). Thousands of colors that are not possible in CMYK . It is a paid system but used by printers which allows total accuracy of the desired color . A file, sent by email, is not always represented in the same way on screens and when printed, it is in this situation that it is recommended to use the Pantone color , in order to be as precise as possible .
Note :
– The CMYK color mode used for printing.
– The RGB colorimetric mode used for the web.
